That KFAT-fm Experience

KPHT-lp is a very unique Non Profit, low power radio station. We CURATE the music & humor of the late KFAT-fm, Gilroy, CA. (1975 – 1983). We continue adding to our library of songs to give all our listeners that FAT experience.

Coming to you from downtown Laytonville at 99.9 fm, we have eclectic Americana music 24-7. We stream our music at www.kpht-lp.com. There is a play button on the home page of this web site. Please make a donation while you are at it… ”we need the bucks” was heard around KFAT and it’s true for us as well. Support KPHT.

Keep an eye out for our Events. They will be fun.

After existing as an informal association for about 3 years, Long Valley Communications was formally incorporated May 2013 as a non-profit organization. The original founders were Long John, President, Harold Day, Secretary and Jeff Stewart, Treasurer.

Since Long John needed to resign in 2018, we are now structured with Harold Day as President, Music Director, Production Director. The Secretary is now Jackie Evans who also does the bookkeeping and Front Office functions. De Anna Dodd is helping us with advertising and promo.

We are constantly adding new music and other fun things. And we could not do any of this without our Sponsors and Volunteers.
